Looking for a new therapist is the literal worst. Which is why I do my best to listen to understand you. No one therapeutic approach comes close to approaching the complexity inside of you and the world around us. I take form and structure from many disciplines but have found one to be most helpful in defining my approach. I specialize & have published on the treatment of Trauma. Trauma is hard to distill into an essence. However, it's often in the lived experience of those who couldn't write their own story according to their own terms. In some ways, this is all of us. My role is to help you to intercede in your story.

My second speciality has been working with teenagers. It is a confusing time for us all; much less when you are an angry, sweaty, hungry adolescent. Talking to families, I often hear how monotone their support structures have become. I aim to offer something better- more human. I frequently work with anxiety, ADHD and mood disorders in teens.

Therapy helps to awaken what is human inside of you. I offer a 25 minute consultation where I will listen and attempt to understand your needs to determine if I am the right fit for you. If you want to work with me and cannot afford my full fee, I am happy to discuss a lowered rate based on where you are at.
